The Coalition for American Trauma Care sponsored a public opinion poll on trauma care and trauma systems that was conducted by Harris Interactive, Inc. in November of 2004. The poll was designed to assess the public's knowledge about injury, trauma centers, and trauma systems and its perception of their importance. The results were presented at a Congressional Briefing on March 2, 2005 by Humphrey Taylor, Chairman of the Harris Poll, a service of Harris Interactive.
